Ash Conditioner is a horizontal box-like chamber with two shafts, opposite blades with top and bottom inlet and discharge. The job of a conditioner is to effectively blend dust that is recovered as the end-product of the process.

Ash Conditioners are highly useful in thermal power plants, sponge iron and in many other industries for pollution control application; as they return the recovered dust to the process in a closed circuit. Ash Conditioners are made of abrasion-resistant bolt-on paddles which insure maximum wear life. The Ash Conditioner is fabricated from steel plate with a rigid base frame with a removable cover plate that provides easy access to internal section. It also houses anti-friction roller bearing support shafts and split type bearing that has dust seals. It blends dust recovered from electrostatic precipitators, mechanical collators, ash silos and bag houses thus allowing transport without the particulate matter escaping into the air.
